Vatheia
Vatheia is a village and a fortified settlement of the Municipal District of Vatheia. According to the population census of 2011 the settlement had 6 inhabitants while the population of the wider community was 316 people. Administratively, the village was part of the Municipality of Oitylo until 2011, when it was included in the new Municipality of East Mani because of the administrative reform brought in by “Kallikratis Programme”. It is located at an altitude of 174 meters and it is 7 km north of Cape Tainaron.
